In this paper, we address the topic of multi-user channel
estimation in a wireless system that combines Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiplex transmission and Adaptive
Antenna Arrays, for increased spectral use and efficiency.
Two current techniques for slowly varying channels are
reviewed: a Least Squares estimator and a simplified low
complexity estimator. The proposed technique of
Constrained Inverse Deconvolution (CID) is presented
next. Analysis of simulation results show that the
performance of the CID method can equal that of the LS
technique with less computational complexity.
