Analysis of Robust Strict Positive Realness for Interval Plants

This paper presents necessary and su¢ cient conditions to verify robust strict positive realness of rational functions with interval parametric uncer tainty which are represented by interval plants. This approach is based on the value set characterization of the numerator and the denominator of the interval plant to subsequently obtain the maximum di¤erence between the argument of the numerator and the de nominator to check if it is less than ¼=2.
