This paper presents the dynamic simulation and steady state analysis of a single phase Unified Power Quality Controller. The proposed system consists of a single phase series voltage source inverter and a single-phase shunt voltage source inverter connected back to back with a common dc link. The system can compensate for voltage sags and swells and eliminate harmonics. The harmonic balance technique provides the means to study the steady-state performance.
