In this paper, the input current and output voltage perfor mance of the matrix converter is analyzed, especially when the operating conditions are determined by a variable in put frequency and an output frequency fixed at . The Space Vector Modulation (SVM) strategy of control for a matrix converter is presented, and a study of the input cur rent quality for several input frequencies is carried out.
