A Parallel Algorithm Implementation of Navier-Stokes Type Model Simulating a Two Phase Flow

In this paper, we are interested in the numerical study of a stream function-vorticityformulation of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in order to simulate a two phase flow modelling an artificial mechanical aeration in eutro phized lakes. For such application, high cumputing facil ities and capacities are required to simulate realistic test cases: this matter of fact is due intrinsically to the large scale of the problem and to the necessity of fine meshing to catch the various significant physical scales involved in the model. After a briefticall of the numerical discretization method, the parallel implementation of the solver is then presented in order to make possible the simulation of real application cases. Some perfomances results are carried out showing the efficiency of the implemented algorithm.
