Distributed virtual laboratories, Petri net simulation
The aim of this work is to provide the students of both ITESM Campus Toluca and Fachhochschule Esslingen universities with remote access to the Virtual Laboratory Project. Using a web browser the user can log-in and post the parameters from a remote client to a WinCC server which is connected to our experiment via a PLC. Modeling can be done using Petri nets or state diagrams. For simulation we offer our experiment simulator so students can test and finally implement their controllers.
