Automatic Co-ordination of Power Generation Level with Thermal Capacities of Transmission Lines

The paper presents a problem of generation control of a CCGT unit operating in an urban area network. Because of thermal capacity constrains of such a network, development of efficient CHP generation is often limited. One of the possible solutions successfully applied in Lublin (Poland) and described below, is real-time co ordination of power generation level with actual thermal capacity of an transmission system.
