In this paper the problem of mathematical modelling of complex electromechanical cascade system with semi conductor elements is considered. This system has been described using algebraic, logical and stiff differential equations. Created mathematical model permits to inves tigate the transient phenomena. On the basis of mathe matical model of cascade the associated sensitivity model has been constructed. Associated model enables to deter mine the behavior of state variables of cascade on system parameter variations. Investigated electromechanical system belongs to discrete-continuous systems. Presented procedure is a proposition of mathematical modelling of discrete-continuous systems.
