PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) inverters are commonly used to drive Permanent Magnets Synchronous Generator. This paper deals with the optimization of the conversion energy system in the case of a wind turbine. It treats optimization of current loop of the machine by taking account the inverter imperfections by adapting optimal control. Experiments of the system are performed to illustrate the advantages of the optimal control strategy, particularly in steady state and dynamic state (variation of the load).
