A Computation Method of Formal Linearization for General Class Time-variant Nonlinear Systems and a Nonlinear Observer

In this paper we develop a computation method of a formal linearization for a general class of time-variant nonlinear systems. An improvement in accuracy of formal linearization is made by changing both the time and state variables to use Chebyshev interpo lation technique. By this method, time-variant non linear systems are transformed into linear ones. As an application, we synthesize a time-variant nonlinear ob server and apply it to a biological system. Numerical experiments are carried out and show effectiveness of this method.
