Modelling, simulation, autogiro, rotor
Mathematical models of an autogiro and autogiro main rotor have been described. The approximate analytical solution of the rotor model has been derived. Software allowing one to simulate and study autogiro flight and rotor dynamics has been developed. Major physical features of the forced flexible oscillations of rotor blades have been investigated. The results obtained have successfully been applied to design an autogiro.
