A variety of strip-based multiresolution models for arbitrary triangle meshes have been presented in recent years. In order to achieve an interactive visualisation, multiresolution models must store and retrieve data efficiently. In this paper, we present a comparison of strip-based multiresolution models. Tests to measure the speed performance of the models for interactive visualisation and uniform level of detail were used. A number of experiments were conducted in which different models were implemented.
