Expanding E-Learning Documents on the Semantic Web

The aim of this paper is to discuss the crucial elements to be considered for efficiently expanding e-learning documents on the Semantic Web infrastructure. This paper deals with as well the following issues: i) content based metadata vs. context-sensitive metadata, ii) the problem of document segmentation following a certain rule of structuring pedagogical context. At the end of the discussion, a tool which helps to construct conceptual schema on a learning document is presented as an idea of complementing current researches on learning document semantics on the Semantic Web.
