Analysis of Grid-Connected PV Power System Under Solar Insolation and Load Variations

This paper presents a study on the effects of photovoltaic power generation equipment on a small electricity grid, which is supplied from diesel. Dynamic analyses for vari ous operating strategies are performed in order to establish the optimum conditions for the most efficient operation of such a hybrid power system, taking into account variations in solar insolation levels and the connected load. The re sults can be used to set up PV-Grid power systems in dif ferent locations.
