Precise Maximally Flat Notch FIR Filters

A fast analytical design procedure for maximally flat notch FIR filters with precise notch frequency is introduced. The presented design procedure is based on the analytical de sign of notch FIR filter with quantized notch frequency. The closed form solution provides straightforward evalu ation of the impulse response coefficients of the filter. One example demonstrates the efficiency of the presented ap proach.
