Adaptive Iterative Strategy for Turbo Equalization based on LDGM Codes

In the paper, we investigate the dynamic process of turbo equalization based on low density generator matrix (LDGM) codes for transmission over different channels. The iterative process is modeled as symmetry Gaussian stochastic process. By monitoring the changes of average of absolute extrinsic information, the iterative scheme is adapted for iterations in LDGM decoder and iterations between LDGM decoder and MAP equalizer. With this method the low complexity iteration strategy can be achieved during the equalization process.
