The major aim of the midcourse guidance design is to save the energy while to enhance the engagement accuracy. The guidance law has to shape an appropriate flight trajectory for favorite engagement altitude and attitude. In this paper, the missile’s flight trajectory is shaped by combining an adaptive fuzzy inference system with the Spline-4 guidance law. Extensive numerical simulations show that our proposed guidance law offers satisfactory engagement performance.
