Abstract

Didactic aspects of Internet-based courses are somewhat different from the didactic aspects of traditional university courses. In this paper the didactical as well as the technical differences between the traditional and the on-line version of a computer networks laboratory course are analyzed, and conclusions for further improvements are discussed. Although the first experimental test for the on-line version was only done with a small number of students and for one module of the course, the received feedback gives an optimistic impression for this kind of curriculum supplement.
