Prediction of Average Fiber Length in Reject Refining Using Transparent Fuzzy Model

The research idea is focused on to build transparent fuzzy model for reject refining process. The average fiber length after the reject refining is predicted. The fuzzy model is compared with classical least squares method. The tuning of the parameters of the fuzzy model is done by ANFIS. The method is applied to the thermo mechanical pulping (TMP) process.
