Wave digital filters are digital filters with excellent proper ties. They can be designed and implemented with DSP without the knowledge of classical filter theory. They can be designed with excellent pass-band sensitivity properties from reference filters in lattice form. Numerical results obtained by simulations and implementation on the DSP TMS320C30 are presented. The tables of the filter ele ments for Butterworth low-pass filter are included.
