Abstract

In this paper we present an Internet based remote moni toring system for climate control in livestock buildings. The system is developed entirely using commercial off-the shelf (COTS) technologies, allowing the farmer to monitor and set reference values for the climate controller using a mobile device connected to the Internet. The presented sy stem is considered as pre-study/case for a possible indu strial solution.
