This paper presents a parametric analysis of a swirling fluidized bed. The parametric analysis is to determine the relative importance of operating parameters on the hydrodynamic characteristics of the swirling fluidized bed. In this paper, the influence of blade angle, gas density, and particle density are investigated. The results of the parametric study show that the particle density and the gas density are the most influential parameters followed by the blade angle and superficial gas velocity. The results are useful in the design of a combustor or gasifier for utilization of biomasspaper should be in the same format as this file.
