We present an anisotropic Laplace test statistic for software reliability growth enhancement. The proposed approach is deļ¬ned as a nonlinear function of the Laplace trend test using redescending stabilization functions. The goal of sta bilization functions is to deal with the problem of increas ing reliability growth by taking into account the absence of activity in the system. Experimental results with real soft ware failure data illustrate the effectiveness and the much improved performance of the proposed method in software reliability.
