Emotion thesaurus(ET), sentence gatherer, emotion intensity
This paper presents an effective and practical approach on the emotional lexicographic component of Chinese documentation. Most previous works have focused on identifying emotion according to affective computing. In this paper, we will focus on constructing and analyzing one part of our emotion thesaurus–sentence corpus. Additionally, an automatic sentence gathering tool and a sentence corpus are developed. In the analysis of these gathered sentences we review the effective definition of emotion basing on different type of text where the sentences are from. Finally, we evaluate the advantage of the emotion definition and according to the evaluation experiment this approach produces much better results.
