Identification of a Flexible Aircraft using Neural Network

The comparison of two identification methods based on Ar tificial Neural Network (ANN) for a flexible aircraft is pro vided in this paper. The Delta method uses the ANN to calculate the stability and control parameters from which the response is calculated. The other technique employs the function mapping property of ANNs as a Block Box to identify the dynamics of the aircraft. Numerical simula tion results and the root mean square errors are provided to compare these techniques.
