Transformer, material cost, Developments theorem
This paper describes a cost analysis and presents a non linear cost estimation model concerning distribution transformers. The Vidmar development theorems constitute the model theoretical basis. Model application examples of constructed medium voltage network distribution transformers (10/0.4 kV and 20/0.4 kV) are also provided. Results prove that this model could become a useful economic tool for the transformers marketing.
