The scope of this work is to present two suitable solutions to develop a Power Conditioning Circuit (PCC) for a Self Powered System powered by low-power vibration energy sources up to 2.5V based on piezoelectric (PZT) generators. Both solutions have been analyzed and implemented into low power hcmos 0.13┬Ám tech., from ST Microelectronics. Some preliminary conclusions are introduced as well as the whole architecture.
