Learner's Evaluation Model using Intelligent Assessment Methodology

Proper learner evaluation is one of the key indicators regarding the quality of an e-Learning environment. This paper presents a custom learner’s evaluation model that may be integrated in a standard e-Learning platform that has implemented on-line testing functionalities. The model uses intelligent assessment methodology. Statistics and analysis on quizzes and answers is performed such that learner’s assessment of accumulated knowledge level is determined in a sound and consistent way. Evaluation model is further used for providing information regarding each quiz for professors and for building custom structured tests for learners.
