Power System Least Absolute Value State Estimation using Contraction Mapping

This paper presents a new method for state estimation in power systems. In the proposed technique, contraction mapping principle is employed to select the appropriate buses for the state estimation. The features of the proposed technique is that the method is simple and results have rel atively small estimation error in comparison with the exist ing approaches.
