Application of Relay Controller for Extremum Seeking in Nonlinear System

In this paper a new approach to extremum seeking for the nonlinear SISO dynamic plants with unknown parameters is presented. Special organization of two loop control and sliding mode in the inner part of the system are the distinctive features of this method. It is proposed to measure the state variables by special linear filter and is recommended to use self-oscillations to estimate the gradient. Simulation is illustrated the feature of the proposed approach.
