Synchronous Machine Parameter Identification based on the Data Measured by PMU

PMU technology sets up a new platform for the online parameter identification of synchronous machine. In this paper, the principle of PMU-based synchronous machine parameter identification was proposed. The incremental equation for identifying the fifth-order synchronous machine model was given. An identification program was written based on least squares method. Then input the simulation data obtained in PSASP to the program. The results verified the effectiveness of combining nonlinear time-domain least-squares method with PMU measurement data to identify the synchronous machine parameters.
