This paper presents a comparison of wall shear stress distri butions and particle traces in a normal and an ectatic coro nary artery. The comparisons are based on computational fluid dynamics simulations of blood flow through these ar teries. These preliminary results give some insight into an giographic observations of flow in ectatic arteries.
