The article describes two ways of selection of a hearing aid for a patient, namely using an analyzer and a computer program for specific hearing loss. Computer supported selection of the hearing aid utilizes following methods: NAL, Berger, Libby and POGO. It is shown that the selection of the hearing aid supported by the computer program brings several advantages in comparison with the selection of the hearing aid by the analyzer.
