A New Differentiation Algorithm for Electrocardiogram based on Wavelet Transform

Ventricular fibrillation (VF) is the most serious variety of arrhythmia which requires accurate and quick detection to save lives, and a pivotal component in automated external defibrillators (AEDs) is the detection of VF signal by means of appropriate detection algorithm. In this paper, on the basis of ContinuousWavelet Transform (CWT) we analyze electrocardiograms (ECG) such as sinus rhythm (SR), VF and so on and propose a new differentiation algorithm for waves which should be applied electrical defibrillation.
