Сombined Newton’s Method for Power Flow Calculation

In this paper, it is shown how the full Hessian matrix influence on the convergence of the power flow calculation. Convergence conditions of the Combined Newton’s method using 14 nodes IEEE testing schemes are investigated. It is shown, that the method allows getting solution when the initial data are incompatibles, and operating point is outside the feasibility boundary of the power flow solution.
