This paper deals with a design problem of an observer- based robust controller with a compensation input for a class of uncertain linear discrete-time systems. The pro- posed observer-based robust controller consists of a fixed gain matrix, an observer gain matrix and a compensation input. In this paper, we show that sufficient conditions for the existence of the proposed observer-based robust con- troller are reduced to LMIs. Finally, simple numerical ex- amples are included.
