Abstract

This paper presents an intuitive graphical user interface for sim- ulation of various topologies of power electronic converters. The simulator is developed using the GUIDE tool of MATLAB r , which acts as a front-end interface that can be used for teaching as well as learning. The back-end circuits are simulated using the power sys- tem toolbox of MATLAB r . Small signal (state space) analysis of dc-dc converters helpful in designing control circuits is incorporated. The simulations are veriļ¬ed using a circuit oriented PSIM simulator and they are closely matching with each other. Thus, this package can prove to be useful learning tool for the power community.
