Abstract

Hydraulic system is widely used and developed in the construction machinery represented by hydraulic excavator. Hydraulic excavator has the advantages of high efficiency and good adaptability. It is essential for mining enterprises, construction industries, etc. The power unit of hydraulic excavator is axial piston pump. In this paper, the total power control variable axial piston pump is studied, and the mathematical model of total power control variable mechanism is established. In MATLAB software, the simulation calculation model of total power control variable axial piston pump is built, and the simulation calculation and analysis are finished. The relationship between the key parameters of the total power control variable mechanism and the flow characteristics of the axial piston pump is obtained by simulation, which is beneficial to the optimal design of the total power control variable mechanism.
