An Ancillary Service-ased Preventive Control to Prevent Severe Emergencies

A corrective control based on computational processing for insecure states and emergencies is proposed. Remote signals are considered to trigger the different items involved .State estimator output is used to represent the real system state. The control scheme includes modules of special load shedding, generation reschedule and reactive transference, whose logic is presented. Simulations of disturbances and states are performed on a sample system, using the corrective control according to abnormal variable detection. Results of their actions is reported with indicators of success of the schemes.
