EM-based Neural Models for Efficient RF/Microwave MCM Design

Widely used in RF/microwave multichip modules, passives are subject to intensive researches for efficient modeling. In this paper, the author introduces the concept of generating accurate and fast neural models for passives that efficiently integrate high-frequency electromagnetic effects for efficient circuit design. By including such effects, the proposed approach can efficiently predict not only the optimum circuit response but also the related geometrical layout dimensions of passives. Applications using commercial circuit simulators are presented.
