Context-Aware Support for Language Learning using Ubiquitous Learning Logs

Abstract

This paper proposes a system that makes use of context to remind learners of their old knowledge or recommend new knowledge for them considering their learning needs. It is also based on a ubiquitous learning log system that keeps record of knowledge or learning experience acquired in our daily lives as learning log. The proposed system can sensor three types of learners’ contexts which are location (place), near learners and some nature parameters such as weather and time. This system is applied in language-learning field.
